UPDATE: April 2012 Ok'd mp3's
"Hi Tyler - Thank you for contacting me about this. Yes, feel free to remove it.
On January 25, 2005, Everyday Jones gave permission for shows to be hosted at the Archive:
My name is Nathan Green, manager for Everyday Jones. Currently Everyday Jones allows taping and is also allowing the archiving of taped shows to www.archive.org. Please note that we do not allow the compression to lossy formats such as mp3 and only allow FLAC and SHN, currently.
Thank you for your time.

Taper Privileges: Tapers do not pay cover or ticket charge to tape Everyday Jones* [see below]
Everyday Jones allows audio taping at almost every live performance. We feel that each show is unique and want to offer our fans the opportunity to recreate the live experience through the audio reproduction of our shows. At all taping authorized performances, tapers can tape from any location in the venue. On occasion, soundboard and/or power feeds can be provided, granted there are slots. When Everyday Jones is not headlining a show we always defer to the taping policy of the headliner or the festival. In addition to helping fans recreate the live experience, we hope tape trading will foster greater interaction within the fan community. Any method of trading that does not involve personal fan interaction defeats the spirit of this goal of the taping policy and is not authorized. In the new age of technology, Everyday Jones recognizes that "fan interaction" exists within the internet community. Trading of shows online is encouraged. Recorded shows are not allowed to be compressed to lossy formats such as .mp3 for trading purposes. SHN & FLAC are encouraged.
Taping is encouraged for audio, using only microphones, but soundboards can and will be given during shows, slots allowing. Please, no wireless receivers. We sincerely appreciate all of our fans, so we ask that you please be considerate of those around you by not obstructing anyone else's view of the performance. Video Taping and Still Photography are welcome.
All recordings must be used for personal use or trading only. Selling or commercializing any recording is illegal. Please read our Bootleg Statement for more information.

A notice to our fans about Bootleg Recordings:
We would like to let you know that Everyday Jones encourages the taping of their performances, but only for personal use, including trading, as outlined in the Taping Policy Statement. The resale of recordings of our concerts is a concern to us, but primarily, they are an illegal use that threaten the taping privileges.
We would be extremely grateful to any of you who pass along information about commercialized bootleg recordings. We encourage you to email us at email@example.com the name and locations of any retailers or distributors of bootleg CD's along with the titles and quantities in stock.
Audience taping at Everyday Jones concerts is authorized for non-commercial purposes only. Unauthorized sale, duplication and/or distribution is strictly forbidden. All Everyday Jones performances and recordings are the exclusive property of Everyday Jones. All rights reserved.
The privileges to record Everyday Jones performances set forth in this policy constitute an express, revocable license. We reserve the right to withdraw our sanction of recording, tape trading, and/or non-commercial digital audio file transfers on a case specific basis or in general, as we deem necessary. No waiver of any copyright or trademark right is intended.
If Everyday Jones is headlining a show, tapers will not be expected to pay cover/ticket charge to tape. Legitimate taping rigs/gear must be used (handheld cassette recorders don't do it). If you would like to avoid a cover/ticket charge, please email firstname.lastname@example.org 1. Your Name and 2. Your taping rig/gear and you will be placed upon the guest list. Keep the confirmation email with you when entering the show or privileges cannot be reserved. Privileges are to be used ONLY for audio (mic) sources. Soundboard & Video do not fall under this category.
